Ladies and Gentlemen,
Join ASCE OC YMF and OC GI for an insightful and adventurous boat tour of The Port of Los Angeles. This boat tour will be given by Hugo Cisneros, Civil Engineer Associate at Port of Los Angeles. This comprehensive tour will provide a unique perspective of facilities, terminals and adjacent activities, with an up close view at the recently completed Downtown Harbor Water Cut.
When: Friday March 13th, 10 am (Boat tour begins at 10:45 am)

Hugo Cisneros Bio:
Hugo graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He started his career in 2001 with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works Flood Control District. Later that year, he moved to the Port of Los Angeles and over the past 13 years he has had structural, geotechnical and civil engineering experience in the design, construction and maintenance of waterfront facilities such as container wharves, marine oil terminals, floating docks, and cranes. His experience also includes planning, design and maintenance of underwater bulkheads, sheet piles, fendering and mooring systems, dredging and dike construction. Currently, he is the Port of Los Angeles Project Manager for the Berth 306 Wharf and Backland Development project. He is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California.
