Structures, parks and streets become places to live, work, and play… sometimes even becoming a part of history! Pay homage to the historic Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum by helping restore the gardens. Enjoy the fine weather Mach has to offer. And learn a bit about one of SoCals historical sites. The event will begin at 10:00 AM, but please arrive at 9:30 AM to get situated and have a free breakfast on YMF. We will primarily be working in “the Grotto” cleaning out invasive plants, cutting down branches blocking paths, cleaning the mosaic area (picnic area) and also working in the cactus garden cleaning out dead cactus, re-doing the walkways, and planting new cactus. Get out your green thumbs and be sure to wear the appropriate clothing! There will be a few breaks here and there and a 30 minute lunch. Simple sandwiches will be provided as well as water.
