| Details | Hey Everyone,
Please save the date for the technical tour of the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement project. The tour will be given by the Design-Build contractor SFI, a joint venture between Shimmick Construction, FCC & Impregilo. The tour consists of Deep Foundations Installation, Tip Grouting, Shoring, Mass Concrete, Pile Caps Construction, Column Construction, Moving Scaffolding System (MSS) assembly for the superstructure, video animation about constructing a Cable Stay Bridge and much more.
The tour will include a visit to the Integrated Project Office, Technical presentation/videos and a Site tour. The tour will be limited to 25 people and lunch will be provided.

11:00 AM - Meet At Integrated Project Office(IPO)
11:15-11:45 AM - Presentations/Videos of the Project
11:45-12:15 PM - Lunch
12:15-1:15 PM - Tour the Bridge
1:15-1:30 PM - Return to the IPO.
