Mr. Yoshiharu (Yoshi) Moriwaki - GeoPentech, Inc. Mr. Michael Waggoner - Ficcadenti, Waggoner, and Castle Structural Engineers Mr. Todd Dudley - AECOM The goal of the event will be interdisciplinary education through open discussion. The event presents a great opportunity for practicing engineers of all ages to learn more about each other's discipline from local industry leaders. Geotechnical engineers in attendance will benefit from: Learning how their structural engineer counterparts apply geotechnical design recommendations. Understanding how to improve geotechnical design reports for incorporation into project design. Structural engineers in attendance will benefit from: Learning how geotechnical engineers develop design recommendations. Learning how to interpret and apply geotechnical recommendations during development of plans and reports. All civil engineers in attendance will benefit from a better understanding of their subconsultant's respective practices, which will, in turn, allow them to improve project planning and design.
