Life Member Forum Student Scholarships Deadline

Calling all Students!

You are cordially invited to apply for one of the esteemed ASCE LA Section Life Member Forum Student Scholarships, sustained by donations from the ASCE LA Section Life Members!

2025 Award Amounts:

1 : Scholarship at $3,000*

1 – 3 : Scholarships at $2,000*

(*depending upon available funds in the 2025 fund balance)

Eligibility requirements:

• Any currently enrolled student in an ABET accredited program in civil engineering or related field within the Los Angeles Section.
• Applicant will be registered as an undergraduate or graduate student in the fall of the year for which he/she is applying.
• Applicants must be a student member of the Society in good standing at the time of application and award.
• The scholarships may be awarded only to those students who will employ them to continue their formal undergraduate or graduate education at a recognized educational institution.
• Previous recipients of this scholarship are eligible to apply in any succeeding competition for these awards provided the other requirements of eligibility are satisfied.

Selection is based on the applicant’s justification of award, educational plan, academic performance and standing, potential for development, leadership capacity, ASCE activities, and financial need, note that your ability to follow these instructions will count in your scores.
