| Details | Please join the ASCE OC as we participate in the annual California Coastal Cleanup Day in Huntington Beach! California Coastal Cleanup Day welcomes more than 60,000 volunteers who will pick up hundreds of thousands of pounds of trash and recyclables from beaches, lakes, and waterways each year. It brings awareness to the marine litter problem and provides a community event for direct involvement! #Sustainablity The offices of the Coastkeeper and Huntington State Beach are merging cleanups for the biggest and best cleanup yet! Join us and lets get this beach sparkling clean. For more history and data, visit here: https://www.coastal.ca.gov/publiced/ccd/ccd.html Date: September 15th, 2018 Time: Check in @ 8:45 am Clean up: 9 am -12 pm Location/Site Information: Please meet at canopy and check-in area in front of the lifeguard headquarters at TOWER #10 Parking: Parking will be free. Mention you are there for a "Coastal Cleanup Day Coastkeeper Cleanup" at the park attendant. Waiver: Waivers will be available at August meeting and sent out the week of the cleanup. Please bring completed waiver to event for faster check-in.
