The presentation will be given by Mario Hansl, P.E., PhD, Manager of Guidance & Vacuum Structures at Hyperloop One, the company that is reinventing transportation to eliminate barriers of time and distance by using hyperloop transport to move cargo and passengers immediately, safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Mario is a Professional Engineer in the state of California with more than seven years of engineering experience including structural design, research & development, project management, and academic teaching. In addition to his working knowledge of steel, concrete and timber design, he has extensive experience in innovative structural rehabilitation of concrete structures as well as experience in non-linear finite element analysis. Mario graduated from the University of Innsbruck in Austria receiving a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Sciences, and a MS & BS degree in Civil Engineering.
