| Details | The ASCE Orange County Geo-Institute and CalGeo invite you to join us for a dinner meeting featuring a presentation on the Oroville Spillway Damage & Repair. The presentation will be given by Ms. Holly Nichols, senior engineering geologist with the California Department of Water Resources. Ms. Nichols will discuss the geologic conditions that were understood at the site prior to construction, the geologic exploration completed since the spillway failure, and the spillway reconstruction design, construction, and status. The event presents a great opportunity for practicing engineers of all disciplines to learn more about the details of this interesting and topical case study. We look forward to seeing you soon.
