Volunteer to talk to students from the "Smart Girl Program" at the Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, and then enjoy the engineering film Dream Big. Engineer and student engineer volunteers are needed. The event will consist of a Q&A; session with about 30 students in 2nd through 6th grade, followed by a showing of Dream Big. Female engineers are encouraged to volunteer since this is a program focused on getting girls to excel in STEM, but everyone is welcome to volunteer. The event will start promptly at 3:30pm, so please arrive at 3pm to allow time for check-in and setup. If you have a time constraint, you can leave after the Q&A; while the film is showing, but you'll be missing out.
