The seminar will focus on the ENVISION™ rating system and how to use geotechnical engineering to help provide sustainable project solutions. The primary points that will be covered by the seminar are as follows: Why is it important to be sustainable? What is ENVISION™, and how does geotechnical engineering fit into its framework? How to practice sustainability, both in general and in geotechnical practice. What does sustainability mean to project owners? How have geotechnically sustainable solutions been implemented on projects in the past? ASCE OC is very fortunate to have the following national leaders in the sustainability field as speakers for our seminar.
