| Details | The Ground Water Replenishment System (GWRS) is the world’s largest advanced water purification system for potable reuse. This state of the art system produces 100 million gallons per day and provides high quality drinking water for 30 percent of Orange County residents. This facility ensures that residents continue to receive the water they need today while also considering long-term water supply challenges. Be sure to buy your tickets for this amazing tour of the GWRS and the Anaheim Recharge Basins. You won’t want to miss it! This technical tour will occur at two locations. We will first gather at the Orange County Sanitation District for the GWRS tour and travel to the Anaheim Recharge Basins for the Second Tour. There will be some time in between tours so there is time to have lunch at X location. We t so we will be traveling to X Restaurant at X location. The tour does not include transportation so please plan accordingly. The event will be scheduled as follows: 9:30 am - 10:30 am GWRS tour (18700 Ward St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708) 10:30 am - 1:00 pm Meal and social* (TBD) 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Anaheim Recharge Basins Technical Tour (4060 E. La Palma, Anaheim, CA 92807) *The ticket purchase does not cover the meal. The location of the meal/social is to be determined.
