| Details | (Disclosure: Bungeeing is NOT mandatory.This event is for those who want to bungee and/or just hike.) Are you a thrill-seeker? An adrenaline junkie? Have you always wanted to do something so epic and memorable that lasts a lifetime for yourself and for the friends you share it with? Orrrrr maybe you just love hanging out with your fellow ASCE YMF-ers at an outdoor setting? If you answered yes to any of the above, this event is perfect for you! This Bungee/Hike event will be held at Bridge to Nowhere in Azusa, CA. The hike is a 10-mile round trip through the gorgeous Angeles National Forest. We will enjoy a 2 hour hike (at a brisk pace) to the Bridge to Nowhere as a group. The hike is mostly over a rocky, rugged dry river bed, and we will cross the San Gabriel River 6 times. You WILL get your shoes wet! This hike is classified as a moderate hike with only 500 ft elevation gain between the East Fork Parking Lot and the Bridge to Nowhere. Hikers of all shapes, sizes, and ages make it to the bridge every weekend. You DO NOT need to be an olympic athlete to do this hike, but be aware that it is a 2 hours of brisk walk in each direction. No food will be provided, therefore, as any other regular hike, you are required to bring whatever food/snacks and drinks you would like for the entire day. Remember, we will be in the wilderness most of the day, so please pack accordingly. The pricing for the General Ticket is for a Single Jump. If you wish to do multiple jumps, please contact Risa Abelgas (information below). Pricing for hiking only is FREE. Please arrive several minutes before 7:30am to allow ample time for parking and check-in. DISCLAIMER: Your cell phone, gps, and navigation will not work consistently as soon as you enter the mountains. Please use the step-by-step driving directions.
