| Details | Please join ASCE and LABS to learn more about the North Outfall Sewer (NOS) which was built in 1920’s. On July 18th, 2016 , the NOS, an aging 60-inch semi-elliptical sewer, collapsed on Mission Road near the 6th Street bridge demolition site resulting in 2.4 million gallons of sewage to overflow onto the streets and into storm drains tributary to the Los Angeles River. |
