Project Tomorrow is a national education nonprofit organization with a mission to change the lives of children through science, math and technology education. They will be hosting a Youth Leadership Summit to provide an opportunity for students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and math fields, and to learn about how math and science proficiency is increasingly a critical skill for current and future jobs. Project Tomorrow is looking for volunteers to host breakout sessions and to commit to two 30 minute time slots either in the morning or afternoon. The speakers are encouraged to give insight to the students about their careers, how they got involved, what they do in their career, and what students should expect going into the industry. The format of the breakout session is up to the speaker, but students really enjoy sessions that are more hands-on or include demonstrations. We want to expose the students to the various specializations in Civil Engineering and the many career paths possible. The more volunteers and more breakout sessions we can have, the better!
