| Details | It is time for our annual Orange County YMF Speaker Series Event (award winning Western Regional YMF Event)! .................................................................................................................................. The 2016 Speaker Series "The Big Picture: Engineering your Career" is a month-long event where four prominent and well-respected members in the civil engineering field give interactive presentations. This year's series builds upon last year's event, "Engineering: Behind the Scenes," by taking a look at valuable, non-technical skills such as communication, teamwork, and growth. Young engineers with a strong grasp of these abilities are often sought after by seasoned professionals because they are capable of making a difference in a company. "Owning a Business Vs. Being an Officer at a Larger Firm" - John Hogan, May 16th: This event will focus on the experience of being an business owner in comparison to an officer at a larger firm.
