Bring your warmth and your recipes to bake up yummy treats. Bring your friends, family, work group, etc. to create delicious baked goods. This is a great community service opportunity, which is part of a meal program called “McBakers Program”. This is where we come and bake delicious treats for families staying at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. Get creative with sweet treats to bake! Ronald McDonald House will supply the kitchen and equipment, your group just needs to bring the ingredients. All baked goods must be prepared on site or brought directly from a commercial retail kitchen. REQUIREMENTS: Volunteers should plan to be at the event from 11:30A.M. to 4 P.M. (To provide enough time to properly set up, prepare the treats, serve the families by 1PM, and clean up) Volunteers must sign & return a Liability form, Health Screen Form, and Photo Release waiver before volunteering. These forms will be distributed via email once registered. Volunteers must be willing and able to perform all tasks below: MAJOR DUTIES Prepare a meal plan and determine the necessary ingredients (before the event). Prepare the meal on site.
