| Details | LA NOMA is inviting engineers to join them in hosting their 2nd annual Architecture and Engineering Summer Camp. This 3-day weekend camp is aimed at exposing local Los Angeles youth to professions in designing the built environment. Volunteers will join 50 junior high and high school students in touring the Getty Center, designing and building their own bridges and buildings, and learning some computer aided design. Classes are held August 6th, 13th, and 20th from 9-4pm at various locations in South Los Angeles. Volunteers will be needed for the morning (8-1pm) and afternoon (12-5pm) shifts.
