| Details | Join ASCE at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday, October 22 at running a booth at the Feria Para Aprender, an annual event where parents will learn how to navigate their children successfully through the U.S. educational system. Hosted by the popular Spanish television network channel, Univision, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, this event will be attended by more than 30,000 participants and 100 organizations. Parents will be able to talk to experts and volunteers from educational non-profits, colleges, universities, and scholarship groups. Our organization will be informing parents and children about the civil engineering career path and the fun events that ASCE hosts throughout the year, such as the Popsicle Stick Bridge Contest.
