| Details | "Founded in 1990 as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) Habitat for Humanity (HFH) seeks to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action while eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from the San Gabriel Valley.” Join LA YMF as we lend helping hands to SGV HFH while getting first hand experience in the building of a timber structure in Glendale. Attending one of the short mandatory orientationsis required of all volunteers before the actual SGV HFH Build event on January 28th, 2012. These orientations will be offered in conjunction with our next Monthly Board Meetings on Tuesday, December 13th and Tuesday January 10th at 6:15PM. The meetings are held at 1149 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, 7th Floor Conference Room and dinner is provided. If you would like to volunteer but cannot make it to either orientation date, contact Paul Choy to make other arrangements.
