| Details | This is the third civil engineering lesson in a 3-part series with the after-school program of the Center for Advanced Learning. Join us in teaching 50 elementary students and parents about how tunnels are designed and how tunnel boring machines (TBM) work. The students will build their own TBMs and explore different types of tunnel lining. No prior knowledge required. Dinner will be provided. |
