| Details | Save the date for this special event as Professor Thomas O'Rourke receives the first ASCE Le Val Lund Award for Practicing Lifeline Risk Reduction. He will also be the event speaker whose teaching and research spans a wide spectrum of expertise including geotechnical earthquake engineering, underground construction technology, earth retention systems, and the protection of large, geographically distributed systems such as water supplies, gas and liquid fuel networks, and transportation facilities.
