| Details | Come join us for the Joint YMF camping trip hosted by Santa Barbara / Ventura YMF (SB/V YMF) on July 19‐20 (Sat & Sun, 1 night). Scorpions Anchorage at Santa Cruz Island is a hidden gem of hiking, kayaking, wildlife, and good‐old‐relaxing in an isolated paradise. 2 group campsites are reserved with a maximum capacity of 30 persons, so space is limited! SB/V YMF will also provide Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. The cost for the camping is only $10 payable to SB/V YMF (not including boat fees). All attendees are responsible for their own boat reservation and costs. Boat service is provided by Island Packers out of the Ventura Harbor at http://www.islandpackers.com/. The cost is $80 round trip (discounts are available for group reservations). Boats usually depart Ventura Harbor at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, and 12:00 pm on Saturday and can pick us up from the Island at 12:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00 pm on Sunday. There is plenty of parking at the harbor. Some travel restrictions apply (e.g. 3 items that weigh < 45 lb each). Visit their website for more information.
