| Details | The symposium presents an opportunity for Society members 35 years of age and under to enhance their professional and interpersonal skills through a variety of interactive and instructive exercises and presentations geared toward project management development and leadership skills. Holding it at the same time as the PGF will provide you an opportunity to meet several ASCE staff members, and most importantly to network with other ASCE volunteer leaders in the organization. ASCE’s Board Orientation will also be held that weekend allowing you additional interaction with Society Officers. The YMLS will instill “The Building Blocks of Leadership” into each attendee. Tentative sessions include “A Self-Assessment of Strengths & Weaknesses” and “Your Corporate-Personal Influence Sphere.” Younger Members will also learn about the Committee on Younger Members (CYM) and resources available to individuals and Section, Branch, and Younger Member Groups. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet and network with other Younger Members from around the country and compare notes on challenges/successes.
