| Details | ASCE LA YMF's first K-12 Outreach event of the new school year is happening this Friday, September 5, 2014!! Come join as we visit Open Magnet Charter Elementary School and talk to their 4th and 5th graders about bridges. The students have been working on designing and building bridges and have asked us to stop by and give them a little presentation and discuss their designs with them. We will also conduct a bridge building activity using toothpicks and gum drops to illustrate some of the concepts we will discuss. We need energetic volunteers like you to help out at this event.
